The collections of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Liège

The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Liège contains more than 6,000 works, including paintings and sculptures, not to mention more than 40,000 works on paper (engravings, drawings, comic strips). 

One hundred and thirty works are displayed in the museum's lower gallery, with new hangings added from time to time as a result of loans, themes in temporary exhibitions, restorations or the desire to give pride of place to certain other pieces.
