The future will speak
"Weaving the thread of memories, marking the distance, as the
needle creates (ir)regular stitches between the past and the present. Elsewhere and home.
I don't like goodbyes, but I did leave Liège.
L'avenir parlera is a journey between different proposals inspired by my notebooks and pieces I made several years ago. It's a response to the gestures of that time. An almost domestic space that embodies both the warmth of home and the doubts of what the past has left us.
Here, I am the oracle who tells the story. The lines drawn with a sewing machine or a computer mouse intersect with the modest lines in pencil. The objects are both protective amulets and banners embodying my assumed presence. Visitors are taken on a journey into their own interiority. I don't set intimacy against strength.

On the following dates, the artist will transform the exhibition space and activate a performance in the experimental phase : Dessin en direct. She will ask visitors to tell her a memory, a desire, a story, etc., which she will draw before their very eyes.
