Conceived as a carte blanche for galleries and art centres in the Liège region, En Piste! showcases the work of a large number of artists, giving the public a chance to appreciate the dynamism of the visual arts sector through the diversity of its offerings.
The exhibition will run from 25 August to 3 September 2023, with some thirty participants:
Aquilaluna, Art studio Gallery, Bonnemaison, Buronzu Gallery, Créahm, Espace 251 Nord, Espace Gothier, Fatal, Galerie 23, Galerie Christine Colon, Galerie Clair Obscur, Galerie de Wegimont, Galerie Le Parc, Galerie Les Drapiers, Galerie Liehrmann, Galerie Orpheu, Galerie Satellite, L'Enseigne, L'Image sans nom, L'Inventaire, La Châtaigneraie, Le Comptoir du Livre, Le Hangar, Maison Arc-en-Ciel, Musée en plein air du Sart-Tilman, Province de Liège (Fondation Province de Liège pour l'Art et la Culture, Collection artistique et Artothèque Chiroux), Quai 4 galerie, Société Libre Emulation, Space Collection and Traces Galerie.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
En Piste! will also provide an opportunity to showcase the work of the artists selected for the fourteenth edition of the Prix de la Création in 2022.
The purpose of this prize is to reward the development of a Liège artist in the various forms of expression of contemporary art.
Painting, sculpture, graphic arts, installations, photography, video... are all possible discoveries.
5 artists have been selected by the jury to be exhibited as part of en Piste 2023! Alongside winners Stéphane Gilot (1st prize) and Matthieu Litt (2nd prize), Sven Laurent, Michaël Nicolaï and Fabian Rouwette will be showing their work in the glass roof of the Museum.
